The Seminar Committee is responsible for planning and producing CIPA’s Annual Legal Educational Seminar. The committee procures speakers and plans all other details to ensure a smooth event.

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for setting guidelines for the CIPA Annual Scholarship, publicizing the scholarship to schools and/or students, reviewing applications, selecting a scholarship recipient, and presenting the scholarship award.

Initiate contact with potential writers to seek content; Gather articles and information pertinent to association members and other paralegals; Research and write articles and other newsletter content; Edit and proof content; Organize articles and publish newsletter.
Responsible for outreach to potential members.

The Pro Bono Committee is the contact point between CIPA and local providers of pro bono services. Seek out pro bono volunteer opportunities and present to membership. Encourage pro bono agencies to seek volunteers through CIPA.
