Central Illinois Paralegal Association

All monthly meetings are open to attorneys, paralegals/legal assistants, legal secretaries, students and the general public.

Please be aware that CIPA has to guarantee the final meal count 5 days prior to the event, and must pay the venue for all meals ordered. Therefore, you will be responsible for reimbursement to CIPA for the cost of your meal should you RSVP and not attend. Cancellations will be accepted up to 5 business days preceding the event.

Please join us for the Central Illinois Paralegal Association monthly meeting to be held on Tuesday, August 12th in Morton, IL.

Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm in the Jefferson Room of the Best Western Ashland House, 201 East Ashland Street.

A buffet consisting of Turkey & Swiss hoagie sandwiches, broccoli & cheese soup, and fresh cut fruit will be served. Should you rather have a vegetarian meal, please rsvp with that request.

Please come prepared with a check made payable to CIPA in the amount of $13.67 for the buffet only or in the amount of $16.79 should you wish to add a dessert.

At 6:00 pm our speaker will be Kristen Waller, Volunteer Attorney Coordinator, with Prairie State Legal Services. Ms. Waller will speak about “Pro Bono Opportunities for Paralegals”. One hour of CLE will be afforded.
